Joel Madden and a friend picked up some food from Mr. Chow’s on Wednesday night. Joel’s fairly polite to the paparazzi this time, asking them to please move so he can actually drive away!
While I don’t think there’s anything wrong with snapping pictures from afar, I think it’s weird that these guys think it’s okay to block Joel’s car so they can get a decent shot. No wonder Joel hates paparazzi so much.

Nicole looked cute in her cropped leather jacket and green dress. Nicole and Joel were not impressed with the photographers, who were there when the couple and a pal both entered and left the restaurant. Nicole hid her face while sitting in the car and Joel exchanges from not-so-nice words with the pap. He tries to be polite, but it’s clear he is not happy.
Nicole Richie was spotted on Wednesday, in her usual boho garb. I’ve been loving her style lately, she’s really gone back to being Nicole with her post-pregnancy looks.
She first went to traffic school, which has become a Wednesday ritual, then had a lunch meeting at La Conversation Cafe.
In the pictures over at Just Jared, she has a Macbook Pro in hand–the same computer I use! I feel special right now :-)

On May 6, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden went shopping for Harlow. They went into the store through the back, but the paparazzi caught them anyway. It looks like they got a ton of stuff!
That same evening, Nicole and Joel headed to a party for Stella McCartney. Nicole looks cute in a white Stella McCartney dress.

The next day, Nicole and Joel will spent some family time together as they took Harlow for a walk.
After taking Harlow for a walk, Nicole and Joel enjoyed a late lunch in Studio City.
Finally, Nicole and Joel were in South Central Los Angeles yesterday. They were there doing volunteer work to help children in the area. It’s great to see them getting involved in the community!

Nicole Richie has been doing a whirlwind of publicity lately. First, she appears on the cover of this month’s Harper’s Bazaar and on Thursday, she’ll give Extra an exclusive interview about her new life as a mom. I guess that’s a good way to celebrate Mother’s Day!
With Extra, she chats about Joel being a father, how her friends have responded to parenthood and more.
“I feel like my group of five to ten friends, they really love her, like she’s theirs… my friends never go outside for smoke breaks anymore, they don’t curse, they are definitely more demure. It’s actually been really interesting,” she says.
As for motherhood, Nicole has really embraced it.
“I was so excited from the minute I found out I was pregnant… and it’s been nothing but an amazing ride since,” she says. “Everything I do is for her [Harlow]. My whole life revolves around her and I absolutely love it.”
Joel has responded in a very similar fashion.
“Joel actually changes more diapers than I do… It’s his time with her. He sings to her… he laughs with her, plays with her. It’s amazing,” Nicole says.
The interview will air on Extra on Thursday!
