Dirt to Spoof Nicole Richie & Paris Hilton
According to Hip Hip Elements, Courteney Cox’s new show Dirt, which is entering its second season on FX, will spoof Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton.
The show’s second season premiere will feature socialite Milan Carlton (see the not-so-subtle name?) getting arrested for driving the wrong way on the highway–the same crime Nicole was arrested for in 2006 and did jail time for in 2007.
Milan Carlton also leads a high-speed chase with the paparazzi, very much like Britney Spears has done in the past.
“You’re gonna be able to identify these characters pretty easily,” Courteney says. “We’re just poking fun and hopefully no one will get their feelings hurt.”
I’m sure Nicole is mature enough and self-deprecating enough to handle it–and will probably even laugh at it!–but I’m uncertain how good an idea it is to spoof Britney.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to tease Britney. She’s unstable enough as it is…I think if she saw that it would just make her freak out more.

Oooo, i love Dirt! i was hoping they would do something like this! i think its fine, i mean, probably anything they do will seem like a parody of some celebrity because there has just been so much celebrity drama these days.. Its all in good fun and will make for great TV so im all for it! cant wait for March 2nd!
