Elle UK Loves Nicole Richie’s Style

Earlier I admitted I didn’t really like this outfit.

It felt too much like a swimsuit for my tastes. After many commenters posted about what an idiot I was (thanks guys!), Elle UK took my fashion incompetence one step further by featuring this outfit in their “Celebrity Style” Section.

Elle writes

the world may spend a lot of time speculating about her weight and rehab visits, but let’s just take a moment to appreciate that this girl has serious style. only the most trim amongst us could wear the ’swimsuit under micro denim shorts’ off of the beach! nicole looks effortlessly stylish in an enviable ‘oh-i-just-threw-this-together’ sort of way. her petite frame makes it possible to show all that skin while still looking demure. perfect pins are a must in shorts like this, teamed with perfectly manicure nails, lightly tousled blonde locks and quirky shades, this is dressed-down at it’s best.

Nicole looks awesome almost all the time and I’m glad to see her getting credit for her awesome fashion sense!
