Harlow Madden is “Talking”

Last night, when the entire Richie clan was on hand to see Lionel Richie receive a lifetime achievement award at the Pop Music Awards, Nicole’s mom Brenda mentioned the first time that his granddaughter Harlow Madden “talked.”
“The other day I was holding her, and Harlow said, ‘Hi!’ I said, ‘Nicole, did you hear that?’ Nicole said, ‘I don’t think she knew what she was saying!’” Brenda said to Hollyscoop.
As for Nicole, Brenda says she’s been a hands-on mom.
“I’m lucky if I get to [see] the baby. She loves being with that baby! [Harlow’s] bathing time has to be right on schedule! I was strict with Nicole, and she fought all of it,” she said. “Now here is she is, being the same way I was [with her] — it’s great to see!”
It’s really great to hear how involved Nicole is! And if you look at the pictures of the event, Nicole looks gorgeous, but so tired!

I praise Nicole for doing what the rest of Hollywood parents refuse to do: be a parent 24/7! Most of us raise our own kids, and some of us did it as a single parent. Good for Nicole for nixing the nanny and taking responsibility for her actions!!!

This warmed my heart so much. I am thrilled to hear this about Nicole. Sounds like she is trying to be a good little mommy!!!
