  yeah nicole is joel’s rebound. He probably likes her but it won’t last. Nicole was with Adam and everybody tought they would get married but they didn’t. She will do the same thing with joel. And joel will realize that going out with nicole richie was a big mistake and one day he will regret it.

  Hilary need to stop talking about Joel.
  I read the magazine and for someone that claims to be happy, she sounds completely depressed and unable to move on. makes me really hate her.

  and think Joel and Nicole are made for each other and if Hilary needs to call them a rebound in order to move on in her life then sad for her. she need to mind her own business and stop ralking about other people’s personal life that she know nothing about.

  Sometimes people find true love unexpectly and thats what happened to Joel and Nicole, its so obvious that they are meant to be. its like saying Brad Pitt is on a rebound with Angelina. its pretty much the same situation. sometimes two people just click.

  Hilary needs to stop obsessing about Joel…makes her look like a loser which she prob is…she should go learn to dance or something.

  Okay, if you really want to know!!

  I think Hilary has the right to be upset. However, she needs to realize that she was very young when her and joel dated; that people move on at different speeds and in different ways; and frankly, she needs to grow up and get over herself.

  it’s times like this you realize that she is only 19. it’s a little sad her high-school-type dramas have to be played out in magazines like this.

  that being said, I love Hil and want her to be happy! i never got her and joel as a couple anyway.

  it’s like you jump into a relationship right after ending another one. they usually don’t mean anything and you use them to get over the person you broke up with.

  nicole is def. joels rebound. thought that the moment they were seen together. i mean it has to be a kick otthe ego to get bumped by someone so much younger than you, ad when you thought everything was going fine in the relatinship. hilary most def. moved on. she has a new boyfriend. joel was disrespectful after the relationship ended. iv said this since everything major started. this is a rebound done bad. im happy hilary said something. and i hope joel reads it and relize’s what an ass he has been. he said in an interview that he always treats the girls he’s dated with respect, but to me thats bullshit. but i do enjoy watching nicoles and joels life go in a downward spiral : ]

  i think hilary has a right to be upset people are saying that she is being imature but if I was her I would have keyed his car. He moved on way to quick (three weeks after they broke up) and he completly changed after it I would call him out every chance I got and all the people that said she is just jeaous would probably do the same thing if it was them.

  Yes, Nicole is his rebound…
  and Joel is a jerk for doing what he did.. I don’t think he loves Nicole, maybe now, but at the beggining NO AT ALL.. I mean, I think all of ya loved somebody right? and if so, you know what love is and it’s not quick ;)
  and look now, Frankie Delgado is way better than Joel. Cuter, funnier, and cooler. Lucky Hilary!!! And Nicole is just someone who always changes her BF… I hope she changes for the baby.. and Hilary is someone who works hard, really hard and it’s the second richiest teen deserving it ;) Nicole just has to play stupid at Simple Life to get paid ;)
  Hil was right about he being immature, and he only wants the money (cause Hil and Nicole earn more than him), etc.
  And Keya, she didn’t get a boyfriend first cause she’s not a jerk like Joel.. now she’s with Frankie (this new went out today), and she’s lucky cause he’s better than Joel, and even if it’s not a serious relationship, she’s not complaing, cause Joel has NO RESPECT, you know? she has, she waits, she’s right!

  How can you go from Hilary Duff to Nicole Richie? EWW! Right before Hilary and Joel’s breakup, Joel was in an interview saying how he thinks Hilary is the perfect girl and how well she treats him and so on. I really think Joel will always love Hilary. It is what it is though and they will probably never get back together. He is stuck with Skelewhore.

  I don’t think that anyone else but Joel can know if Nicole is a rebound romance for him, least of all Hilary! Anyway, usually rebound romances last only for a short time and this one has lasted for a while now. It is possible for people, (especially men it seems ;)), to move on quickly. It has happened to me too: my fiance of 3 years found a new girl 2 weeks after we broke up and after 5 years they are now happily married! That only goes to show that it is possible to find true love shortly after another relationship has ended.

  I think it’s a bit self-indulgent and immature for Hilary to say that Nicole is a rebound for Joel and I’m sure that she will cringe at those comments herself after a few years. Especially when she was the one who dumped Joel, not the other way around! Of course it is always hurtful to see your ex being happy with someone else.

  Anyway, Nicole seems like a sweet and funny girl and I think that Nicole and Joel have a lot of fun together.

  Yeah I suppose your right with the answering Joel question thing, but Hilary always says she answers everything honestly, I rarely see her not answer a question, which I like about her =]
  I didn’t say that it was a rebound, I think they are cute together. I just dislike Nicole for various reasons…I don’t think one comment about Hilary saying its a rebound makes her immature. In other interviews shes wished them both the best and just wants them to be happy. Thats not immature in my opinon. But I understood what you meant, lol.

  Even if Nicole was Joel’s rebound, they’re getting married so haha Hillary still has egg on her face. Plus Nicole is way cooler than Hillary. Da Duffster is sooo boring (Lizzy McGuire is considered an achievement? She’s fine if you’re 7 years old. Plus she’s dated Frankie Muniz). It’s no contest.   I think people are just saying that Hilary is jealous because she’s being honest. What if it was you? You wouldn’t think it was a rebound? I think it was a rebound but it was taken too far when Joel got Nicole up the duff (no pun intended). I think Hilary was totally right. But, it’s not Nicole’s fault she’s the rebound either. But with all this hollywood stuff going on with people stealing everyone else’s boyfriends, I’m sure Nicole jumped at the chance of finally being able to steal Joel. I feel sorry for the kid.

  I agree, except for the part about Joel & Nicole. I really believe that Nicole has changed her ways and I think her and Joel will make great parents. I’m very happy for them. Sure, they may not have planned the pregnancy but that doesn’t make the baby any less theirs. I wish them all, Joel, Hilary, Nicole and the baby, all the luck the world.

  so i definitely don’t agree with Hilary at all. I think she is just jealous and is mad that Joel is happy.
  Personally I’ve never been a Hilary fan, so seeing him not with her is amazing. And besides him and Nicole look WAY better together, and they have an adorable daughter who is gonna have a great life with two really caring, amazing parents. So Hilary should just stop being a little b**ch about everything and move on, Joel already has and is happy.
