Joel Madden: “Harlow is a Mama’s Girl”
Even though Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have been social people these past few days, their thoughts are always with their daughter.
She’s “definitely a mama’s girl,” Joel told People at his gig at Prive last Friday. “Right now she needs mom because all she does is eat. I have a feeling that when she starts talking she’s going to be a daddy’s girl.”His gig at Prive was actually Joel’s first night away from Harlow. He only agreed to DJ because the proceeds from the event were going to the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation.
“It’s really hard being away from her. I think after having Harlow we are already in love with being parents,” he said. “It’s cool to watch Harlow with Nicole because they already have a real special bond. It’s cute. I have my own little bond with her too.”
Joel praised Nicole too, for both being a wonderful mom and for being a beautiful woman.”She’s a wonderful mother and she looks really hot already,” he said. “The girl is gifted, man. Women hate her because she looks good being pregnant and then has the baby and looks sexy. There’s something so attractive about her now. It’s a motherly glow.”
It sounds like they have such a strong loving family already! I’m so happy for them!

nicole is such a lucky woman! what joel said about her is so sweet and appears to be true. nicole does look really sexy, and beautiful, she’s really rock’n that 70’s look. nice boobies, and from the sound of what joels saying, and by the look of it, she’s nursing harlow, yay! lucky harlow too.

’she looks really hot ALREADY’. I really didn’t think Joel was that shallow to say something like that. Wasn’t she hot when she was pregnant? And then he adds that part about other women hating her cuz she looks good being pregnant and sexy after having the baby. He’s going downwards in my opinion. Bad Joel!!

That is my opinion too. I thought it was rude and unattractive as well. Nicole looks great as always, but don’t insult other women!

He did say she was was hot when she was pregnant: “…she looks GOOD BEING PREGNANT and then has the baby and looks sexy.” How did he insult other women? All he was trying to say is there’s so many people, and in this case a lot of them are women, who say she’s starving herself again after the pregnancy, looks horrible, skinny, etc. I witnessed that myself, and I really think some of them are just plain jealous, because Nicole looks great after just giving birth. I’d understand if she weighed 70lbs, but she doesn’t, so it’s either jealousy or the “let’s hate on Nicole just cause it’s cool.” The man is trying to defend the mother of his child, I don’t see anything wrong with that.

maybe he’s just saying that because he heard that other women were complaining or something. I don’t think that automatically makes him shallow.

It sounds like bragging which isn’t appealing to me at all. Like other women aren’t attractive. Just my opinion tho! ;)

he never said other women aren’t attractive. And what’s wrong with him thinking his girlfriend is beautiful and telling everybody that? I’m not trying to start anything, but I just think people are making a big deal out of something really petty and unimportant.

Yeah, I don’t understand how he’s supposedly saying other women aren’t attractive? He’s just telling the truth about those who keep saying Nicole looks horrible now because they hate her. There’s tons of people out there who hate her just because she’s ‘Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton’s bff.’

Something made me go hmmm. The comment was off-putting I suppose, at least to me. I didn’t like the other women hate part. (Most likely, there would be no reason to hate if you are just as good or better). It makes females sound petty, when I think most women are good-hearted and wish the best for others. The tabloids are awful though.
So I don’t know. I guess everyone sees things differently.
