Joel Madden Wants to be Dad of the Year
Joel Madden and Good Charlotte were in Munich for the MTV Europe Video Music Awards this week. Joel seemed to be far more excited about the upcoming birth of his baby than of any possiblity of winning an award. (For the record, Good Charlotte walked away empty-handed).
“I’m gonna be dad of the year!” Joel told reporters. He also mentioned that he doesn’t know the sex of the baby nor do they have any baby names picked out.
“We’re going to meet the baby first and then we’ll figure it out,” he said.
Benji got in on the baby excitement too, sayinh, “I see him reading books every day, getting ready, it’s exciting. ”
“The whole band is so excited. We’re going to have a little mascot! Life couldn’t get any better – the record is really taking off and we’re all happy, and that’s all that matters.”
I bet they have a few names picked out, they are just keeping them quiet. I know a lot of people who do that, not just celebrities!
