Nicole Ignores Aussie Fans

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, when Nicole arrived in Australia yesterday, she was rude to the crew on theflight and ignored the fans patiently waiting for her arrival at the airport.

The article states

However her fans were bitterly disappointed when her security team resorted to aggressive tactics to keep them at arm’s length.

Fan Bianca Valodian woke up at 4am to catch a glimpse of Richie and was devastated to miss out on getting an autograph from the tiny star.

“We haven’t slept in two days,” the 17-year-old year 12 student from Frenchs Forest said. “It’s pretty heartbreaking.”

Qantas staff were also underwhelmed by Richie, who was rude to the cabin crew on her flight from Los Angeles. “She’s not very nice,” a female crew member said. “She has no charm.” By contrast, her fiance Joel Madden and his brother, Benji, of Good Charlotte, happily posed for photographs with fans and signed autographs at Sydney Airport after flying in from Auckland after Richie.

I know the flight from L.A. to Sydney is a long one, and Nicole was probably tired and grumpy– I know I would be– but when you are a celebrity you need to remember that your fans are the reason you are famous. Would flashing a smile, posing for a photo and saying “Please” and “Thank-you” to the wait staff killed Nicole?

I’m disappointed in Nicole and can only hope this report was exaggerated for the sake of press.
