Nicole & Joel Watch Ashlee & Pete Get Married

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married in an intimate ceremony last night, attended by 150 of their family and closest friends, according to People. Among those in attendance were Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

Ashlee’s father, Joe, resided over the ceremony while Jessica Simpson was the maid of honor. Other guests included Ton Romo, Jessica’s boyfriend, and Donald Faison, who is dating Jessica’s friend CaCee Cobb.

I wish Ashlee and Pete the best, but can’t help but wondering if this will put more pressure on Nicole and Joel to tie the knot! There’s so much marriage talk around them–rumors about them, rumors about Benji and Paris and pals getting married!

    Nicole’s dress is beautiful… I WANT HER SHOES! I love Loubies… and Joel isn’t wearing a top hat… thats a bowler or a rounded fedora… a top hat is like the Cat in the Hat or President Lincoln… sorry… I kind of got freaked out when you said top hat… lol..\

    i can’t quite make my mind up about the dress! nicole looks stunning in it, but it looks so costumey, in a Renaissance Faire kind of way.
