Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Fall Wedding?
According to Star Magazine Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are looking at September 21st for their wedding date.
The 21st will be Nicole’s 26th birthday, Good Charlotte will be on a 19 day tour break, and it still gives Nicole enough time to serve her sentence.
“Joel feels a sense of responsibility toward Nicole. Joel is scared - Nicole’s pregnancy is not something he’s taking lightly. It’s been anxious times for them, but Joel finally told her, ‘We need to get beyond all the bulls–t that’s dragging us down and learn to lean on each other.’ That was music to Nicole’s ears - she couldn’t stand the thought of losing him and facing jail,” a source told the magazine.
“Seeing how scared Nicole was about going to court brought out his protective streak. He wanted to give her something to hang on to. There are a lot of times I thought he would throw in the towel with her, but the truth is, he really does love her.”
In Nicole’s interview with Diane Sawyer, there was no mention of a wedding date. Silly tabloids.

the article below has some comments/statements that didn’t air on GMA or 20/20.
Joel said a wedding is not ‘imminent’. I LOVE that he said he fell in love with Nicole within a month of knowing her.
