Nicole Richie and Joel Madden to Wed After Birth

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are post-poning any wedding plans until after their baby is born.

The source who spoke to E! claims that “she said she doesn’t want the baby to one day grow up and think she and Joel rushed to get married just because she got pregnant.”

The Celebrity Cafe writes:

Other reasons for holding off on marriage? Richie wants enough time to plan her dream wedding and apparently doesn’t want to be shopping for maternity wedding dresses. She also has to serve a four day jail sentence by the end of September for her DUI. No matter the reason, it looks like the national media frenzy will have to wait until after the little Richie-Madden is born before filling magazines with “exclusive” wedding pictures.

And why shouldn’t they wait?
