Nicole Richie at La Conversation
Nicole Richie hit up La Conversation in Beverly Hills yesterday, as she had a business lunch with long-time manager Benny Medina.
Nicole’s fashion sense has become very bohemian as of yet–she’s wearing headpieces a lot! She wore one when she was on Ellen and she’s wearing one here. All her jewelry is from her House of Harlow 1960 line. There isn’t better advertising than that!
Here’s a video of Nicole leaving La Conversation. She does her best to ignore the paparazzi as they ask her questions about Harlow and how her day has been.

I wonder where she got the bruse on her ankle from :) She looks beautiful. Hopefully she will stay at this weight, because it looks like she lost a few recently. Her upper legs are skinnier now that a few weeks ago.

ah, her style has been bohemian since rachel Zoe made her over in that style in 2003. the surprise will be when she does something different.
although she looks cute, it’s definitely time for a change. I mean 5 years is a looooong time for anybody to rock only 1 style!!!

Bella, I felt she moved away from it a little bit after leaving Zoe. It wasn’t a starch departure, but enough to know she wasn’t working with Zoe anymore. But lately, her outifts look exactly like how Zoe used to her dress. It’s not a major change, but it’s enough to make me go “what?” esp. since she and Zoe had such a falling out.
I agree–I’d love to see her do something super different and exciting.

yeah, i’m beginning to wonder if she just doesn’t know how to dress any different. she didn’t know how to dress before rachel zoe.
before zoe, she was sloppy and usually really frumpy. i thought it was all just the drugs and staying a teenager a bit too long into her early twenties. no big deal, a lot of girls do that. rachel zoe said that when she met nicole she hadn’t even showered and was in an over-sized sweatshirt and dirty jeans. zoe basically completely made her over and taught her everything at that point.
and now nicole hasn’t really changed her look at all since the one Zoe created for her …and as you say, they did not part friends. so it’s very curious that nicole has made no effort to re-style. you’d think she’d want to distance herself from Zoe, whose charges used to be called “Zoe-bots”.
could it be Nicole doesn’t know how? and needs someone else to help her again?

That’s really interesting. And it makes a lot of sense. You would think that after the falling out between her and Zoe, she would want to change her style.
The other argument could be that she really liked the Zoe look, despite her feelings towards Zoe. But that doesn’t make as much sense to me.
