Nicole Richie Chats about Pregnancy

Nicole Richie sat down with Access Hollywood to chat about her pregnancy and her relationship with Joel Madden. The first part aired tody and the second part will air tomorrow.

“When I found out that I was pregnant, there was just something inside of me that felt a responsibility to mend any issues that I’ve had with my parents in the past, because, listen, I’ve put them through a lot,” she said.

She also mentioned that her dad, Lionel, is very excited about becoming a grandfather: “[The baby] is all he talks about, actually,” Nicole said, although Lionel is not too keen about being called “grandpa.”

Nicole also said that she doesn’t know the sex of the baby–but she’d like to! Joel is preventing her from knowing:”I like to know everything. If he wasn’t at every doctor’s appointment, I probably would have found out by now just behind his back and not told him.”
