Nicole Richie Donated to Barack Obama’s Campaign
The Huffington Post has an application called Fund Race, where you can search and see what people donated to the presidential campaign for either candidate. I looked up Nicole Richie and Fund Race shows that she donated $2,300.
It’s no secret that Nicole and Joel Madden supported Obama throughout the presidential campaign. It’s nice to see that they supported him financially as well as vocally. This year’s presidential campaign was long, hard-fought and expensive and it’s great to see celebrities participate in the democratic process!
You can’t find Joel, but it’s possible Nicole and Joel donated together under Nicole’s name.

Well, I guess it worked! lmao Joel and the rest of good charlotte supported Kerry pretty seriously too… i guess the obama thing worked out better… ^.^

Really a disspointment. We needed Ron Paul or Bob Barr. I am really worried about the direction of the country now. And trust me, I did NOT vote for McCain. There are more than 2 choices people!

Yeah but the way the world votes, Barr or Ron Paul really don’t have a chance. It’s kinda a waste of a vote, and thats sad, that so many americans are still unheard… but, in reality, that how it works, and I personally was on the fence about the two candidates. I like Obama and McCain, but I can’t stand either of their VPs… and I can’t tell you who I voted for…because I didn’t vote… I’m too young… lmao.

We have a corporate controlled media which influences Americans on how to vote. A third party would really stand a chance without mass media propaganda. Let me ask, why is Obama so great? I have yet to hear a real answer.
OBAMA voted FOR the patriot act and the bailout bill. He is for wiretapping phones, regulating the internet, and the creation of a new citizens army- in addition to our military. Obama wants to fight in Afghanistan and is considering waiting longer to withdraw troops from Iraq.
Obama will take away more rights than Bush and you can bet that he won’t repeal any of the previous administration’s unlawful policies. Just look at his voting record. Our media only covers Republicans and Democrats, whose policies are controlled by so many special interests and lobbyists that America has become a corporate fascist nation.
I think Obama may be a good person and will push forward a liberal agenda - which he may actually think is good for the American people. I can guarantee you that he will take away our gun rights, starting with a ban on assault weapons.
Bush already took away our right to privacy and habieous corpus. Obama will continue the legacy.
