Nicole Richie Excited For Baby
Nicole Richie is happy about her pregnancy and is excited for her baby! Not only that, but Joel Madden has been out shopping for an engagement ring!
US Magazine writes
After several weeks of Nicole Richie hiding her stomach from photographers, the is-she-or-isn’t-she-rumors can be put to rest: Us has confirmed via multiple sources that Richie is more than 12 weeks pregnant with her and boyfriend Joel Madden’s first child.
“She is extremely excited right now,” a source close to the star tells Us.
Richie, 25, shared the good news with her mom Brenda, and close friends like Mischa Barton, in early May, adds the Richie pal, after a pregnancy test came up positive.
And the pregnancy isn’t the only cause for celebration.
A source says Madden, 28, along with a few friends and his twin brother Benji, recently went shopping for an engagement ring.
And the twins’ older brother Josh Madden tells Us, “Nicole is awesome. I would love for them to get married!”
Both families are thrilled about the couple’s baby joy: “Everyone’s happy, everyone’s good, everyone’s getting along” a source tells Us.
But Nicole can’t hide her bump forever. The Simple Life star is due in court on July 11 to answer DUI charges stemming from her December 2006 arrest. If found guilty, she faces 90 days to one year in jail because of a previous DUI conviction in 2003.

She is sooo stupid! First she starves herself, and then goes to jail and now she is pregnant! She won’t be able to take care of her baby. She will be a horrible mother like Britany Spears. She will get a full time nanny and probably drink and smoke when she is pregnant. She is too skinny! She will probably mis-carry. She isn’t big enough to carry a baby. 85 pounds yeah thats gonna work. poor kid if it does survive.

i think nicole richie will be a great mom if she has a baby i bet it is goping to be a very happy baby with nicole and joel. I just hope the seson of the simple life will go on and i hope the baby and being marride wont ruin her freindship with paris

Still not going to beleive it. Untill i hear Joel, Nicole say it Or she pops a baby out!LOL But Us Weekly is a GOSSIP MAG. We cant believe that for sure. But if she is Preggers.. 12 weeks should be showing. So we should just wait. :)

I doubt she actually is pregnant it might just all be for publicity or she’s trying to stay out of jail. She is really tiny so I don’t know how that would work out with her being pregnant. It’s kind of hard picturing her with a baby, since she’s still going through a lot right now.

ok Amanda, you no nothing and it shows! i hate when you people come on this site about nicole and say stuff about her thats rude damn if you didnt like her you wouldnt have come on this site and either she is or isn’t pregnant but it doesn’t matter you have no right to decide wether she will be a good mom or not only time will show that. And as for you claiming people who are 85 pounds cant have a heathy baby that is not true i have seen plenty of skiny people have a child and it be very heathy and happy. As for the smoking and drinking damn you no you have done it and you no if you had a kid in you it would make you stop Nicole has a heart and wouldnt poison her kid with a habit that she has! I hate how everyone doesnt really no her and assumes the worst out of her. She is a living breathing human with a heart and it oviously works so she will use it! Just give her time to cope with the fact there might be something living inside her now!

nicole’s life is going to change so much and i cannot imagine her as a mother already. it’s just as strange if paris was pregnant. the party lifestyle doesn’t really match motherhood. aside from that, i’m happy for nicole. if this is what she wanted to do, then good for her. i want People to confirm it though. It’s the only news source i usually trust. we hear all this talk of shopping for the wedding and baby, but were’s the candids we see of all this? don’t we always see pictures?

Oh shut the hell up. Ugh. Nicole is going to be an /amazing/ mother. Oh my goodness, and if I turn out to take that back, there’s NO doubt in my mind that Joely will be a wonderful father. I seriously almost died with happiness and excitement for the two of them. I’ve been waiting for them to marry for over a year. They’re absolutely adorable and I love them both. [A year ago, I never thought I'd say that about Nicole] I can’t wait. This is going to be one absolutely beautiful baby.

ashley - if they’ve been dating for only 6 mos., how could you be waiting for over a year for them to get married? stop smoking before you leave an opinion.
my opinion is that it seems no one takes time any more to get to know anyone before they procreate. hope if this is true everything works out well for all especially the babe who obviously is a product of unprotected sex (tsk tsk on the both of you..unless of course something broke).

Ok, I have been with the same guy for 5 years and we have yet to have a kid.We are getting married this september 22 and making sure we do everything right. We are waiting until our late 20’s to have one. So that means not everyone trys to have a kid when they first meet and i think nicole is at the age where she wants something to wake up for every morning, she wants something to make her say damn im happy to be alive and a kid well that is what a kid will make you feel. So dont lable everyone for other peoples mistakes and just think this kid might be what makes her get her act together.

here is what I think about all of this:
not ANYONE on here KNOWS nicole sorry people, but we all have just as much right to bash on her as we do to put her on a pedestal, so those of you telling amanda she has no right to say what she did because she doesn’t know nicole, news flash you don’t either.
With that said if nicole starves her self and doesn’t get herself to a healthy pregnant weight she could have complications. and lots of people do drugs, drink and smoke when they are pregnant having a heart has nothing to do with it, if she is addicted she wont stop with out help. One could hope that she will change for her self and her baby, I can’t say I am a fan of nicoles, I can’t say I have alot of faith in her parenting abilities, but people do change and well if she doesn’t I really hope that CPS takes her baby… thats harsh i know but no child deserves an alcoholic drug addicted mom be she wealthy and famouse or poor and a no body. oh and on a final note Karla you said “can i ask you this amanda…

ok, no one can help nicole but nicole to stop doing drugs, so no matter how much damn help she gets it aint going to work unless she wants to truely stop, so yes, if she has a HEART she will stop and you think no one has the balls to tell you what they think well i do and i think she can do it and i think you can jus go on somewhere with telling us that we dont no her so we cant say nothing well no we dont really no her and niether do you so you cant say n e thing either this is a site and as much as AMANDA has the right to bash on her and as much as we hate it in here we have the right to bash on AMANDA for what she says. I agree with Brandi that no we don’t know her but also i hate that the most stupid people think they know the most. If you come on a site that is called ritchefan.com just to trash someone that you don’t know then you must have really low self-esteem because there is n o other explination for that knd of commenting on someone that you only read about. People need to have faith in her. Rarely do i see a mother that does not care about their child enough to not sacrifice things that they like for the child. Also with both parents being with the child i think the baby will be happy and more stable then some of you scum bags that trash people that they know nothing about.

AND recently paris has gotten so much attention, she wants it too!
She could be pregnant, but If she was, why wouldnt she come out with it and have an interview shes getting so much spotlight anyway.
