#1 she most likely has not ovulated due to being thin and all the drugs and drinking. She probibly does not have periods at all.
#2 she is so thin that it is probibly a beer gut OR she just had lunch.
I dont feel bad saying these things because 10 years ago it was said about me and I was not pregnate. I did get a gut from drinking and not being healthy. I did not get a period or ovulate for 2 years while I was in the midst of partying for 5 years.

I doubt she’s pregnant. I was once anorexic so I know first hand about the bloating. When one becomes anorexic, their body will shrink like crazy, then when they eat food, it will bloat exactly like that because the stomach has shrunken to a point where it is harder to expand with food, so it bloats instead. Ask any anorexic or recovering anorexic and they will tell you about the stomach bloating

When you deprive your self of food, you retain fluid around the gut, thus the apparent ‘bulge’ is bloating.
she isnt’ pregnant.
also, because of her low fat percentage, its very unlikely she would even be able to conceive in the first place. i would be surprised if she has a regular menstrual cycle.

Well, if she really is pregnant, I’m more concerned about what the hell Joel Madden’s going to do because he’s the supposed father of Nicole’s baby and they broke up a little while ago, she was “too clingy”. Will he come back and support the baby or not have anything to do with either of them? I hope he has enough dignity not to walk out like their old man did, at least. That would be sad. Joel is always saying he’s upset their father left them, so I hope he’s not following in his tracks, that would be utter hypocrisy.

On the other hand, publicity stunts happen all the time with celebrities, especially when they already have enough issues in their lives, it screws them up. I’ve also seen firsthand what drastic measures someone will take to get someone back. Girls at my school fake pregnancy all the time to get their boyfriends to give a damn.

Eating disorders do have strange affects on someone’s body. Shrinking, bloating, stretching, pulling…it’s very weird. That’s what could be happening to Nicole.

In a few weeks or so, we’ll be able to tell if she or the tabloids is lying or not.

Well, as someone who has studied the effects of starvation, it looks like she is in one of the stages of starvation, NOT pregnancy. If you’ve seen the photos of starving kids in Africa, you’ll notice that they all have that “bloated stomache” look, though they probably haven’t eaten for days. This is a typical result from having been starving over a long period of time. She should really get some help before she ends up like Karen Carpenter.

Many people on this thread have said something about Nicole’s bump being caused from starvation. That is 100% possible. The condition is called kwashiorkor and it happens when a person does not consume enough protein. Proteins in our bodies are what carry oxygen, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients throughout our blood stream to our cells. When our bodies do not have enough protein, everything she is consuming, such as water, is being stored in her abdomen. This is exactly what happens to the millions of dying people in Africa.
But hey, maybe she is pregnant, who knows?
All I can say is, if she is pregnant, it would be wise for her to better her health for the sake of her child.

Even if she is pregnant, she won’t carry that baby to term if she doesn’t fix her ED NOW! Doens’t matter if she’s pregnant if the baby has no chance of survival, and right now, in her body, that baby has 0% chance of living. I am just here leaving my comment like everyone else did, and just to clear things up I am not a fan of Nicole but I am not against her either.
But most women this skinny do not mensturate and if she’s not mensturating then there is no way she can be pregnant, and from her only weighing an alleged 83 pounds I highly doubt she is pregnant.
She is probably bloated from starving herself and that is why is stomache looks big, and also it could be a big scam just to get back with Joel because he supposidly broke up with her after a recent trip to an awards show in austrailia, and maybe she wants Joel back so she is faking a pregnancy so he goes back to her and maybe it’s all a big publicity stunt who knows?
And even if she is pregnant who knows if the baby is Joel’s or not? Because let’s face it Paris, & Nicole were always seen photgraphed and on tv with different guys all the time.
And if Nicole is pregnant she needs to gain weight and get off the drugs/alcohol and clean up her act for the sake of her own health and for the sake of her unborn child.

I don’t think she’s pregnant, however, I can’t be certain, as everyone’s body reacts differently to pregnancy. Howeverm based on my obervations, I highly doubt she is. I have an eating disorder and my stomach gets very distended after I’ve eaten too much. If she was pregnant, it would also be higher up. That seems awfully low for a baby bump. And she’s also very thin. It would be very difficult for someone that thin to get pregnant, seeming as they wouldn’t be ovulating. If she is pregnant, though, it would almost be a miracle that the child was able to survive.

I just had a baby on May 8th. Based on that picture, she is definetly pregnant. First of all, you can tell by where her ABDOMEN is sticking out. If you overeat, your lower abdomen/uterus doesn’t stick out, your stomach does. And for all of the dumb men out there, you carry a baby in your uterus which is in the lower half of your body i.e. where nicole is showing. The uterus doesn’t get pushed up underneath the ribs until later in the pregnancy, when the baby is bigger. And not all belly buttons stick out during pregnancy, mine didn’t.

Okay, none of you obviously know anything about pregnancy and how the body works while pregnant. a.) your stomach isn’t in your ABDOMEN. Clearly, that is her uterus sticking out. b.) the uterus only gets higher during the later months of pregnancy i.e. the baby pushing the uterus into the rib cage. if her STOMACH was full, the bulge would be much higher on her. Considering I just had a baby on May 8th of this year, and had to deal with 9 months of weird body changes, I know what’s up. She is without a doubt pregnant, based on that picture. The reason she is showing so much so early is because she is thin.

When someone is full or eats too much, their uterus which is located in the lower abdomen doesn’t stick out, morons. If she had simply just eaten, the bulge wouldn’t be where her uterus is. She is 100% pregnant and I can say this based on the fact that I just had a baby on May 8th of this year, and had to deal with 9 months of all kinds of strange body changes. The uterus doesn’t start to push into the rib cage until later on in the pregnancy, when the baby is bigger, obviously. And for the record, not all belly buttons stick out during pregnancy. Mine didn’t, and it wasn’t because i’m fat.

personally, i lean towards pregnant. even though she’s so thin it IS possible that she’s pregnant. i was anorexic when i was younger for about 2 and a half years and i met every criteria except that i never lost my period. it did lighten a lot but i had REALLY heavy periods and the doctors think that’s why i never lost mine completely. plus when stomachs disdend from starvation they aren’t that perfectly sphereical or that low and it’s covers most of the rib cage area and you look sort of barrel chested (or at least i did). to me it looks more like a baby bump, but who knows?

Actually, she very well could be pregnant WITH or WITHOUT having a period! The odds are not in her favor but it can be possible. I am thin-not as thin as her-but when I was in the beginning of my pregnancy, I too had a little bulge like that. Your stomach is located in the UPPER part of your abdomen and your uterus is located in your lower abdomen-which is where her bulge is. She more than likely IS pregnant.

For all of you comparing her to the african children who are bloated from starvation, they all have huge abdomens all over…Nicole only has a little pouch. TOTALLY different so use different comparisons!

And no one has a right to say she shouldn’t be pregnant or she wont be a good mother-only God can say who should and shouldn’t be a mother. If she is pregnant, obviously God disagrees with you all who says she shouldn’t or she wouldn’t be pregnant in the first place.

I think all of you need to stop saying negative things about a person you have never met. I wish her the best and pray she gets help-for her sake and for her unborn baby.

I think she’s much to thin to even carry a child if she was pregnant. She’d definitely lose it if she didn’t start takin vitamins & gaining some fast weight. It’s possible she could be pregnant b/c even MOST women don’t ovulate when they’re that thin, it’s still possible, plus she WAS in a relationship & I’m sure at 28 there wasn’t any restrictions to how intimate they got. But that’s not my business & personally don’t want to know. Anyways, if she’s not pregnant then she’s obviously bloating from starvation & malnurishment.
