Nicole Richie Scared of Mommyhood

My Park Magazine is reporting that Nicole Richie is terrified of becoming a mother.
They write:
‘The Simple Life’ star, who is expecting her first baby with fiancé Joel Madden, is said to be concerned her pampered Hollywood upbringing hasn’t properly prepared her for the demands of being a parent.
They cite a source who claims,
“Her major concern is whether she can cope. Nicole has spent most of her life, since her early teens, partying, making big money in TV and being treated as a celebrity. Now she’s got to open up to the most important person in her life – her baby.”
I think this shows how mature Nicole has become. Becoming a first time mother is scary for anyone. The fact that Nicole recognizes that her past and her Hollywood upbringing might impact her mothering abilities only shows how prepared she is.

I don’t get it. What has this girl ever done to benefit anyone but herself? I don’t even know why she rates as a celebrity. Have I missed something? Now we hear she’s scared of becoming a mother. At least she realizes that it’s going to hard for her. It’s a challenge for any woman. After leading a life of total self-indulgence, partying, drinking, drug-taking and breaking the law she’s going to have to put another human being ahead of herself. For the child’s sake, let’s only hope she can do it.
