Nicole Richie “Surprised” By Shortened Jail Time
Even Nicole Richie herself is shocked at how little time she spent in jail.
According to TMZ,
Sources tell TMZ that Nicole Richie was “surprised” by the short amount of time she had to serve at Lynwood — and she apparently had a pretty good stint in the clink, all things considered.
We’re told that the tiny ex-con found the Sheriff’s Department “extremely professional” and “cooperative” and she “appreciated their efficiency.” Eighty-two minutes — that’s efficient!
Nicole’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman-Holley, tells TMZ that Nicole was “prepared to do the full four-day sentence” — but after being held in a cell in the booking area of the jail, she got her walking papers and strutted right back home.
82 minutes is nothing! I’m glad it wasn’t too big an ordeal for Nicole.

i think she should have done her four days…thats just unfair…wat paris done was much lighter to wat nicole did and yet she served minimum while paris served 23 dats..thats a lot…

that just once again shows how much the US legal system sucks. i mean, she was driving on the wrong side of the highway - she could have killed somebody! thats irresponsible and this “young hollywood” bunch is not only reckless, but also dumb as hell. go to school and get a degree. do something meaningful with your life. so people please wake up - these bitches are not much better than you are as a human being. in fact i’d say most of you are way smarter than them. and probably prettier (these whores wear LAYERS of makeup its not funny).

you cant compare paris and nicoles sentences they were for completely different things. and as the report states nicole was ready to do the 4 days, so it obviously wasnt her decision, alteast there was no fuss from her. And considering she’s pregnant I think she did a good job, so well done!
