Nicole Richie to Claim Drug Tests Were Bogus

Nicole Richie’s trial is to start today. TMZ has discovered that her defense will consist of her lawyer proving that the drug tests preformed on her were false.

Nicole’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman-Holley, filed a declaration yesterday, which claimed “Dr. Terence McGee as a defense expert … will challenge the prosecutor’s scientific evidence and the conclusions reached by the drug recognition expert.”

Nicole doesn’t need to be in court today, because it’s just a standard motions hearing.
