Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and it will be the first time Nicole Richie gets to celebrate it as a mom!

Even though it’s only days away, Joel Madden doesn’t have any special plans yet.

“I don’t have any [plans] yet but I’m going to plan something special,” Joel told US Magazine.

However, he think Nicole deserves special treatment on Sunday.

“She is a great mom,” Madden said. “She is super mom!”
