Both Nicole Richie and her daughter Harlow looked adorable as they did some shopping on June 13th. The twosome enjoyed spending some time browsing at a toy store before picking up more practical things like groceries.

Nicole twittered about her and Harlow’s adventure out, writing:

I know @joelmadden is going to make fun of me, but I found the BEST toy store today ! Acorn in santa monica;ALL natural & wooden toys

Nicole is very concerned about keeping things natural and organic for Harlow. I’m glad to see this attitude applies to everything, even toys! It looks like this trip was a success, because Nicole came out of the store with a doll house and magnetic tabletop easel for Harlow!

Nicole looked great in skinny jeans, an oversized black and white cover-up and a colorful printed bag. I’m loving her pregnancy style - lots of moms-to-be should really follow Nicole’s lead!

Harlow’s peeptoe Mary Janes are too cute! She’s definitely giving Suri Cruise a run for her money in the stylish tots department.

Nicole Richie and Harlow enjoyed a mommy-and-me outing when the twosome went to Joan’s on Third yesterday afternoon. The girls enjoyed a long lunch together before taking off to run some errands.

Nicole looked great in a loose white tee, acid wash jeans and cutout Oxford flats. She has the best maternity style and makes being pregnant look effortless.

It certainly helps she has the best accessory around - Harlow, looking adorable as ever in a green sundress.

Nicole Richie and her daughter Harlow enjoyed a playdate at a friend’s house on Friday afternoon.

Nicole looked cool, casual and very much in mom mode with a large tank top and frayed shorts. Harlow looked adorable in a yellow-printed tank and headband. I think Harlow has got to be the most fashion forward toddler in Hollywood.

Nicole got cute on Twitter in expectation of Mother’s Day today, twittering “Since I have 1 child, 1 on the way, 1 cat, & 2 dogs, I expect 5 presents tomorrow.” She later added she has fish too! I hope Joel and Harlow have something special in store for Nicole.

After a great vacation in Miami, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were seen headed home on Thursday afternoon. The paparazzi caught up with them at LAX airport. All three family members looked very tired and Nicole did her best to hide her face from the cameras. Joel and their security team were not pleased with the photographers and things got a little bit rough.

In Miami, Joel relaxed while Nicole launched her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960 and made an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly.

Joel was relieved to get back home, twittering “Back Home. Finally.” Nicole echoed the sentiment, twittering “Happy to be home.”

I hope they have a relaxing weekend as a family and enjoy Mother’s Day on Sunday! I wonder what sort of Mothers’ Day celebrations Joel and Harlow have in store for Nicole!

While Nicole Richie was busy filming Live with Regis & Kelly, Joel Madden and their daughter Harlow enjoyed some time by the pool at the resort they were staying at.

Harlow looked adorable in a one-piece with a ruffle. Little kids in swimsuits are the cutest thing! Joel was very patient with Harlow and helped her get her face and head wet and float around in the water.

Joel and Harlow spent quite a bit of time in the water during their Miami vacation. The next day, Joel twittered “just had a swim lesson with harlow. SHe did great! I’m so proud of her.” He later joked that “The swim lesson was for me. Harlow was just there for moral support. She was great moral support!”

I hope the entire family had a nice time in Miami!

Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and their daughter Harlow were spotted at the LAX airport yesterday as they got ready to fly to Miami. They are headed to Miami because Nicole will be promoting her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line there and she will be making an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly.

Nicole looked comfy and ready to travel in a pair of leggings, tank top, sweater and scarf. Harlow looked ready too, as Joel carried her through the airport, she looked inquistively at the camera.

Apparently, when the threesome got to Miami, there was a lot of chaos at the airport. “The photographers were acting like animals,” Joel wrote on his Twitter. “It was the first time I’ve ever seen my child scared. Not cool for any parent to see. At least in LA they gave us some space.”

I must say I appreciate Joel’s attitude towards the paparazzi. Yes, they’re annoying, but they have a job to do. And them being interested in you helps bolster celebs’ own career. That being said, they need to respect the space and privacy of celebrities and especially of their children. Poor Harlow. It will be interesting to see how she responds to the paparazzi as she gets older.

Nicole Richie and her daughter Harlow were spotted going to a friend’s house for a play date yesterday afternoon. It looks like Harlow had a spill of some sort. She came to the play date in a cute blue and white outfit, but left wearing an even cuter pink cherry print pajama set!

Nicole Richie and her fifteen-month-old daughter Harlow were spotted on a Starbucks run yesterday afternoon. Nicole looked super casual in a hoodie, hat and leggings while carrying a giant diaper bag. Harlow is definitely the more fashionable of the two, with a sweet headband and carrying her stuffed giraffe.

I’m not certain, but it looks like Harlow has been crying. I wonder if she’s tired or if she just misses her dad, who is on a five-day DJing extravanganza. He’ll be in Kentucky, London, Monte Carlo, Lisbon, Chicago and Los Angeles. That’s quite a hefty schedule!

Harlow must be happy to have her mom back from Canada though. Nicole was only gone for 2 days, but sometimes that can seem like an eternity!
