Joel Madden headed to Las Vegas on June 19th to take over as DJ at Prive in Planet Hollywood.

Nicole tweeted today a funny mention about Joel:

“WOW I just found out that @joelmadden has NEVER seen Beaches. What is he an alien? Let’s all make fun of him. I do it all the time its fine”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were see shopping at Fred Segal after an afternoon of running errands yesterday afternoon. Several tabloids have picked up these photos and are claiming the couple was shopping for baby clothing - in blue!

Nicole looked cute in a loose brown tank and shorts. Being pregnant in the summer is never fun, I hope this one isn’t super hot for Nicole’s sake. Joel was very casual as well, in loose jeans and a DCMA top. The two looked like they were on a mission!

Nicole has been enjoying the warm weather and has been spending a lot of time with Harlow lately. I can’t post these photos here, but on May 11, the family was seen shopping at Naked Baby and on May 12, Nicole took Harlow to play in the park. Harlow looked adorable and she’s growing everyday!

After a great vacation in Miami, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were seen headed home on Thursday afternoon. The paparazzi caught up with them at LAX airport. All three family members looked very tired and Nicole did her best to hide her face from the cameras. Joel and their security team were not pleased with the photographers and things got a little bit rough.

In Miami, Joel relaxed while Nicole launched her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960 and made an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly.

Joel was relieved to get back home, twittering “Back Home. Finally.” Nicole echoed the sentiment, twittering “Happy to be home.”

I hope they have a relaxing weekend as a family and enjoy Mother’s Day on Sunday! I wonder what sort of Mothers’ Day celebrations Joel and Harlow have in store for Nicole!

While Nicole Richie was busy filming Live with Regis & Kelly, Joel Madden and their daughter Harlow enjoyed some time by the pool at the resort they were staying at.

Harlow looked adorable in a one-piece with a ruffle. Little kids in swimsuits are the cutest thing! Joel was very patient with Harlow and helped her get her face and head wet and float around in the water.

Joel and Harlow spent quite a bit of time in the water during their Miami vacation. The next day, Joel twittered “just had a swim lesson with harlow. SHe did great! I’m so proud of her.” He later joked that “The swim lesson was for me. Harlow was just there for moral support. She was great moral support!”

I hope the entire family had a nice time in Miami!

Nicole Richie launched her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960, in Miami last night. Boyfriend Joel Madden took the night off from Daddy duty to join Nicole at the event, which I think it sweet. The event was a private meet and greet for fans at IDAandHarry who had purchased the line in the previous few days.

I love the bright blue maxidress Nicole has on! It’s summery but yet glamorous enough for an event like a jewelry launch. I even like what Joel is wearing and am coming around to his blonde hair. He’s making it work!

Nicole, Joel and Harlow should be coming home to Los Angeles soon. I hope Harlow enjoyed her mini-vacation!

Miami wasn’t all work for Nicole and Joel. They enjoyed time by the pool and had a dinner out with Nicole’s manager, Michael Baum. Nicole posted this adorable photo of her family on her website. I love Harlow’s headband!

Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and their daughter Harlow were spotted at the LAX airport yesterday as they got ready to fly to Miami. They are headed to Miami because Nicole will be promoting her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line there and she will be making an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly.

Nicole looked comfy and ready to travel in a pair of leggings, tank top, sweater and scarf. Harlow looked ready too, as Joel carried her through the airport, she looked inquistively at the camera.

Apparently, when the threesome got to Miami, there was a lot of chaos at the airport. “The photographers were acting like animals,” Joel wrote on his Twitter. “It was the first time I’ve ever seen my child scared. Not cool for any parent to see. At least in LA they gave us some space.”

I must say I appreciate Joel’s attitude towards the paparazzi. Yes, they’re annoying, but they have a job to do. And them being interested in you helps bolster celebs’ own career. That being said, they need to respect the space and privacy of celebrities and especially of their children. Poor Harlow. It will be interesting to see how she responds to the paparazzi as she gets older.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden enjoyed a quiet afternoon as a family. The two of them and their daughter Harlow ran errands in Hollywood yesterday afternoon before stopping for lunch.

Nicole looked cute in a black jumpsuit and a white t-shirt. I can’t tell if the jumpsuit is a maternity one or if Nicole just got a very large one! I know in her last pregnancy she didn’t wear maternity clothes, but now that she’s designing a maternity line, it would make sense. It would help better understand the construction and fit of the garments.

Nicole dressed the look up a bit with a red quilted Chanel bag. Joel stuck to his staple plaid shirts and ball cap.

Joel Madden is back in town. He was spotted on a coffee run at the Coffee Bean in Beverly Hills this afternoon. He’s still sporting his bleach blonde hair!

Joel twittered about how great it was to be home earlier today and revealed what the highlight of his trip was - you’ll be surprised!

“I am now at home with my girls. Everything is back to normal. Highlight of my trip? watching “best in show” on the plane. Awesome movie” he twittered.

I’m glad Joel’s back home. Nicole seemed excited by it too, twittering how great it was to have him back home.

Joel Madden decided to make a drastic style change yesterday - and dyed his hair platinum blonde!

Joel was spotted sporting the new look as he went for coffee with his brother Benji at the Coffee Bean on Melrose. No one should mix these two up now!

Joel twittered about Harlow’s reaction to his hair and it sounds adorable: “For those of you who asked. Harlow did recognize me with the hair. Took her a minute, but she gave it a thumbs up. She loves it! so it stays. ”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden had a quiet date night last night, as they went out to see the film Sugar.

Sugar is a fictional biopic of a Domincian baseball player named Miguel Santos aka Sugar. The film follows him throughout his career as he struggles to make it to the major leagues and pull his family out of poverty.

The film premiered on april 3rd, 2009 in New York and Los Angeles. It is being distributed by Sony Pictures Classics and has yet to receive widespread distribution. It was on the 2008 festival circuit and garnered mostly positive reviews.

Both Nicole and Joel were not happy to see the cameras. Nicole completely covered her face with her sweater and was led by the hand by Joel, who kept his head down and eyes away from the paparazzi.

Both Nicole and Joel really enjoyed the movie. Joel twittered that “SUGAR WAS AWESOME. Great indie baseball flick but so much more.” Nicole didn’t post any movie reviews, but twittered about going to see the show nearly the whole day leading up to it.
