Nicole Richie has been having a grand time on Twitter. She’s having a great time bonding and teasing her pal Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, repeatedly asking Ashlee when Nicole is going to get a chance to hang out with Ashlee’s mom, Tina.

Nicole twitters stuff like “@andylecompte @ashsimpsonwentz @haydenslater am so jealous youre with Tina. I think I’m going to end my friendship with hayden tonight” and “One is always prettier, cooler, or more talented. Everyone has a favorite Simpson. & mine just joined Twitter. Yes, I’m talking about Tina.”

Apparently, Nicole is very fond of Ashlee’s mother. The twosome even had a girls night in the other day, and Ashlee was lucky enough to tag along. Nicole posted this sweet photo of the three of them, writing “With the best mom in the world; & can someone get this weird redhead out of our picture?”

I always knew Ashlee and Nicole were friends, but didn’t realize just hoe good friends! I think it’s great Nicole has friends she can relax with and share the joys of being a mom!

Rumors are flying that Nicole Richie is getting serious about her music career-and she’s pulling out all the stops to make sure it’s a success. The New York Daily News is reporting Nicole is enlisting in help from Rihanna and Kelly Osbourne.

“Rihanna and Kelly are coaching Nicole and giving her tips on how to perform,” their source claims.

Nicole has been supposedly visiting a studio and has recorded a cover of Prince’s 1981 “Do Me, Baby” and a song about she and Joel Madden called “Me and You.”

I’m excited by this news, but also a bit skeptical, too. Lots of rumors about Nicole come out everyday. I’ll believe this one when Nicole herself reveals it in an interview.

According to NY Post’s Page Six, Nicole Richie is doing her best to be a friend to Paris Hilton and trying her best to prevent Benji Madden from moving on so quickly.

At Good Charlotte’s latest release party, Nicole shooed girl after girl away from Benji. She’s trying her best to stay neutral in this post-breakup situation, but thinks it’s mean and disrespectful of Paris’s feelings to blatantly flirt with other girls so soon.

“Benji was approached by dozens of ladies. Girls were trying to flirt with him . . . but Nicole kept getting in the way,” a source at the party told a magazine.

I think this is sweet of Nicole, however, I hope she doesn’t do this forever. As for Benji, I hope he’s been respectful about Paris’s feelings and not actively seeking out these girls’ attention.

Star Magazine is reporting that Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton are feuding-over headbands.

You see, both girls planned on incorporating headbands into their jewelry and fashion lines, but Nicole beat Mischa to the punch when she launched House of Harlow 1960. Because their headband designs were so similar, Mischa’s line was put on hold.

“Mischa is furious,” a source tells Star Magazine. “She feels like Nicole completely copied her idea.”

I think this is ridiculous. I also think that while Mischa and Nicole have great fashion sense, it’s a very similar taste and neither girl is a trained designer. What do you think?

Christina Aguilera worked the red carpet this weekend at the American Music Awards, but her mind was still on mommyhood. Christina’s son, Max, was born only hours apart from Nicole Richie’s daughter, Harlow, and the two have bonded over becoming new parents.

At the AMAs, Christina was asked what its like to be a working mom and about her support group. She gushed about what a fantastic mom Nicole is and how she often looks to Nicole for motherly advice. Christina talks about Nicole at 0:55 in the video below.

I love the idea of Nicole being strict mom! On one hand, it makes no sense, but on the other hand, I can totally see it! I wonder if Christina, Nicole and Ashlee Simpson will have a mommy-and-me playgroup any time soon!

Joel Madden recently chatted with People magazine about his friends Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson. The two joined Joel and Nicole in parenthood, becoming parents to a baby boy named Bronx Mowgli Wentz. Joel has every confidence in his friends and knows they’ll be great parents.

“They both have really big hearts. I wish them the best. I know they have their hands full right now but I’m excited for them,” he said.

I think it’s great Ashlee and Pete and Joel and Nicole are all friends. It’s important to have a support group that knows what you’re going through and can help you out. Becoming parents is an amazing thing, but it’s also a lot of work, a huge change and it’s exhausting!

On a side note, I can’t stand the name Pete and Ashlee chose. It’s so not my style. Are you a fan?

People “caught” Nicole Richie playing catch-up with The Hills star Audrina Patridge Wednesday night at Coco de Ville in West Hollywood.

Nicole was there with Benji Madden and a few friends, when Audrina walked by their booth. She stopped and chatted for a few moments before moving on. Nicole apparently stayed put, chatting with her group of friends and showing them lots of pictures on her cell phone.

I wonder if the photos were of Harlow! I bet they were!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were enjoying a night out at Sunset Tower Hotel, when fellow celebrity couple Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer were seated at a table near them. The foursome got to chatting and got along like old friends.

“There was a lot of excited talk between the two girls, with Nicole’s head bobbing up and down as she talked to Jen,” a source told People.

I’ve always liked Jennifer Aniston, so it’s nice to hear that she’s doing well and that she and Nicole get along.

I found a paparazzi video from when Nicole Richie bumped into pal Ashlee Simpson at Barney’s New York in Los Angeles earlier this week. While the video isn’t anything new or exciting, it’s amazing at how big Ashlee has gotten! She’s looking amazing!

Ashlee is due in October and is apparently having a boy. Her and Nicole’s friendship has supposedly gotten stronger since Ashlee became pregnant–Ash has even been seeking Nicole out for parenting advice!

According to Showbiz Spy, Ashlee Simpson is, like all first-time moms, worried about becoming a mother. She’s been turning to a pal who has ben through it herself–Nicole Richie.

“Nicole knows only too well how scary it is becoming a new mom and she has offered Ashlee some friendly advice and a helping hand for when the new baby arrives,” their source says.

Hoever, Nicole’s helpfulness isn’t completely altruistic–she’s hoping that Ashlee’s little boy will become a regular play-date for Harlow. I think this is a fantastic idea–both Harlow and Ashlee’s bundle of joy will be growing up in the limelight, have rock star dads and have young, hip moms.
